This place is on the best fishing waters of the Turtle Flambeau Flowage right out the front door and there is some of the best hunting, ATV and snowmobile trails right out the back door. It doesn't get much better than that!
Full basswood interior with enough insulation to heat the place with candles. Jacuzzi and a heat fan in the bathroom gives you a relaxing place to lay back.
People go to the Northwoods to enjoy the outdoors, but that doesn't mean you can't spoil yourself with a little luxurious cabin to top it off. There are TV's, DVD players, surround sound system and comfy couches to hang out on when you aren't enjoys the great outdoors.

Lakeside of the cabin looks out right over the Turtle Flambeau Flowage in Mercer, Wisconsin. Windows are only on the lake side and the rear (woods) side of the cabin. This rental cabin is very private as it is, but with lake view and woods view you feel even more secluded. This rental cabin is a private property and not part of a Wisconsin resort. Pets are allowed but we ask that you keep them gated in the kitchen / bathroom area because that area is tiled. The rest of the cabin will be carpet. We would like to keep everything as clean as possible, but pets were the number one request by renters of cabins in Wisconsin, so pets will be allowed. There is a BBQ on the lake side porch right now. Plans for the future include a large wrap around porch.

New fresh Log Siding with Sikkens log siding stain on it. Natural Wisconsin pine trees surround he private cabin on the lake. There is a skylight in the kitchen and in the loft. If you sleep in the loft of the cabin you can fall asleep staring and the stars. The kitchen receives plenty of natural light from it's skylight. The door has built in blinds for privacy in the rental cabin.

Very heavily insulated walls and ceiling make heating the cabin easy! Outside water sprocket for rinsing off ATV's, boats, dogs, trailers or anything else you need is available. Future plans include a larger rear porch and an attached mud room.

Open living room looks right out over Lake Bastine which is part of the Turtle Flambeau Flowage in Mercer, Wisconsin. Kitchen table has seating for 8 people with plenty of extra room.
Fall season changes the color of the leaves on the trees.

Large comfortable couch pulls out in to a queen size bed. There is enough seating in the main living area for 3 on the large couch, 2 on the smaller couch, 8 at the kitchen table and then there are cloth camping chairs also. Comfortable carpet will be on the way for this rental cabin.

The lake side of the house is as close to the water as the law will allow. The Turtle Flambeau Flowage requires that you stay 75' off the shore. So my cabin is at 75'. The lake side of the house has as many windows as I could fit. You can sit on the couch and just instantly start falling asleep. Once the tools get out of the cabin there will be a lot more space.

The kitchen window above the sink looks out into the lake as well. This is a fully stocked kitchen. You should be able to find just about anything you need. The vaulted ceiling and sky lights make every room feel wide open.
New and larger dock is in future plans, but until then there is a 19' dock with a sanding shoreline. The Turtle-Flambeau Waters Pure, clear, sparkling water - nearly 19,000 acres of it for you to use and enjoy in a variety of ways. The Turtle-Flambeau Flowage is a result of the 1926 construction of a dam to create a reservoir. The Turtle-Flambeau Dam harnesses the power of the Turtle and Flambeau Rivers to generate energy for the Flambeau Paper Corporation, located 20 miles south on the Flambeau River. The dam created 18,900 acres of water with 212 miles of winding shoreline. The Turtle-Flambeau Flowage encompasses nine lakes, three rivers and several creeks, all beautifully free of pollution.

The loft has a large bay window looking out the backside of the cabin and then across the cabin is this large bay window looking out over the Flowage. The loft has a sky light as well and 2 twin beds. Both the kitchen and loft skylights open with vents to allow great airflow.

- Please stay on and use only the cabin's property, docks and boats.
- Please do not disturb any neighbors in anyway. Some are other renters and a couple live there full time.
